What is Mid-Atlantic District Exchange?

Mid-Atlantic District Exchange Clubs are the 36 Exchange Clubs throughout Pennsylvania, Southwestern New York, and Northern Maryland and are made up of 935 dedicated men and women who volunteer and focus their energies on making our communities better places to live and work in.

The first Exchange Club was founded in 1911 in Detroit with the vision to assemble individuals to “exchange” ideas on how to better serve their businesses and communities. Charter clubs were soon established in Toledo, Grand Rapids and Cleveland. And it kept on growing.

Today, the National Exchange Club is the largest standing non-profit all-volunteer service club in the United States. With more than 700 clubs and 21,000 members throughout the United States and Puerto Rico, it's no wonder why Exchange is America's Premier Service Club.

Exchange Club's programs of service include Child Abuse Prevention, Youth Projects, Americanism and Community Service.
